Collections

The collections of Fondazione Andriana Marcello include 130 prestigious handmade artefacts displayed in the Museum, while the Palazzo Mocenigo Museum is home to an extensive collection of archive materials such as records, letters, awards, and diplomas besides a wide range of drawings, photographs, and paintings. The building on Piazza Galuppi in Burano is also part of the Foundation.

Over time, the collection has been expanded with important donations. Among these, in 2015 — thanks to donor Francesca Bastianello Camerino’s trust in the Foundation and mediation by President Umberto Marcello Del Majno — the Foundation received a precious lace frill from the surplice of Pope Clement XIII, born Carlo della Torre of Rezzonico.
Measuring 55×300 cm, the lace frill is accompanied by the donation of a typewritten sheet from the mid-1900s in which it is called a glory, as the Lacemakers defined their work in a period publication
